At 93, Willie Nelson isn’t just defending his Texas hometown—he’s asking a much bigger question: Who will control the water? Speaking out against data centers near rural communities like Abbott, Nelson warned that America’s real strength lies not in massive industrial development, but in farmland, open spaces, local businesses, and generations connected to the land. His message was unmistakable: “Whoever controls food and water, controls the masses.” For Willie, protecting rural America means protecting the resources no community can afford to lose.

ABBA Voyage May Be Heading to New York With a Purpose-Built Theater The groundbreaking ABBA Voyage experience could soon cross the Atlantic. According to the New York Post, developers are planning a purpose-built theater for the show on 11th Avenue in Hell’s Kitchen, Manhattan, just west of Times Square. The proposed 175,000-square-foot venue would hold around 3,000 people and be specially designed for the technology behind Voyage. The project, reportedly involving Extell Development and Bluestone Group, could cost approximately $500 million, with a possible opening around 2028. Launched in London in 2022, ABBA Voyage brings digital versions of Agnetha Fältskog, Björn Ulvaeus, Benny Andersson and Anni-Frid Lyngstad to the stage alongside a live band, using advanced motion capture, animation and visual effects. If the New York plans move forward, Manhattan could become the first permanent American home of ABBA Voyage, bringing one of music’s most ambitious digital concert experiences to a whole new audience.
